When I got back to my beloved La Paz, I was bursting with excitement to surprise my husband with a private, personalized yacht cruise. Growing up surrounded by the breathtaking Sea of Cortez—a true nirvana of nature and the world’s most mesmerizing aquarium—I knew I had to share its magic with him.
I dived into researching every yacht charter in town. While La Paz boasts some fantastic options, they either fit mega-group budgets or were simply out of reach. Sure, everyone should experience the local “Pangas” for a taste of our vibrant culture, but I was on the hunt for that perfect mid-market gem.
When the opportunity finally presented itself, I took the plunge. I launched a proudly Mexican-owned yacht charter company that offers customized, affordable cruises designed to create unforgettable, inspiring experiences for every client.

Lover Lips Yachts, is committed to giving back to our local community. This is a recent example on why we give.
BAD DAY IN PARADISE
It is called La Passion.
An odd name for a housing settlement.
Especially a poor colony.
Deprived dwellings for the forgotten.
Shanty shacks for single mothers with children.
Hovels of homes for the disabled.
Me? I live right at the foot of Paradise. A Nirvana of Nature. The Sea of Cortez. The aquarium of the world. And I was having a bad day. Even positive people have painful periods!
But I digress.
Between Thanksgiving and Christmas my husband and I decide to give 20 baskets of food.
In passing we mention it to a couple of our friends.
Just sharing. No requests for contributions nor cash.
Not from a church nor from the government.
Just from people helping people.
The ripple effect turns into rivulets and gushes to a river for good.
Twenty turns into eighty baskets of sustenance!
My bad day?
What bad day?

When my husband’s grandson, David Leslie, met me for the first time, it was like a mini espionage mission from a 4-year-old! One minute, he peeks at my face and darts away, and the next, he’s coming back for a closer inspection—especially fixated on my bright red lipstick. Before I knew it, he blurts out, “Your name is Lover Lips!” and just like that, the nickname was born.
In honor of David’s adorable revelation—and the bold red lipstick that’s a staple for many Mexican women—we christened our boat LOVER LIPS. Our logo? A pair of vibrant red lips with a yacht icon cheekily nestled inside. Now that’s what I call sailing with style and a splash of sass!
