When my husband’s grandson, David Leslie, met me for the very first time, it turned into a full-blown mini espionage mission — launched by a curious four-year-old. One minute he’d peek at my face and dart away, and the next he’d come back for another inspection… especially focused on my bright red lipstick.
Then, out of nowhere, he announced with total confidence,
“Your name is Lover Lips!”
And just like that, the nickname — and the brand — was born.
In honor of David’s adorable revelation, and the bold red lipstick that’s a signature look for so many Mexican women, we proudly christened our boat LOVER LIPS. Our logo? A pair of vibrant red lips with a yacht icon cheekily nestled inside.
Now that’s what we call sailing with style — and just a splash of sass. 💋

An odd name for a housing settlement.

Hovels of homes for the disabled.
Between Thanksgiving and Christmas, my husband and I decided to provide 20 food baskets for families in need.
In passing, we mentioned it to a couple of friends.
Just sharing — not asking for contributions
Not through a church.
Not through the government.
Just people helping people.
And that’s when something beautiful happened.
The ripple became rivulets.
The rivulets became a river of kindness.
